Katie's Run - a Fundraiser for Epilepsy Research
6th Annual - Sat. June 24, 2017
10K Run - 5K Run - 2.5K Walk/Run
Another $100,000 for Epilepsy Research
We did it! At the 6th annual Katie's Run on June 24, 2017, we raised a grand total of $34,310, surpassing our goal of $33,334. Through our partnership with EpLink and the Ontario Brain Institute (OBI), every dollar raised is matched by an additional two dollars from OBI, a research institute funded by the Ontario government. This means that you helped us invest $102,930 into epilepsy research!
To our fundraisers, donors, participants, volunteers and sponsors, we say THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

Dads of Epilepsy
Each year we feature the story of one or more inspiring individuals who are living with epilepsy. In 2016, we shared the stories of several moms that we've connected with through Katie's Run. This year we are following up with stories from a dad's perspective.
A father's role is the protector of his family, so what is it like when he is at a loss as to how to protect his child from having seizures? Please take the time to read and share these heartfelt stories from dads of epilepsy, and help increase awareness of the need for events like Katie's Run.Dads of Epilepsy
The goal of Katie's Run is to raise funds for epilepsy research.
Katie Woudstra was our original inspiration, and you can read her story here. There are so many others living with epilepsy and all its challenges, and our goal is to help uncover the brilliance that will end epilepsy—forever!
